It would be kinda boring if everyone just typed out a few words and nothing else. Don'cha think?

I hear the crowd is expected to be huge at Tad Gormley on Friday. Schools claiming they have sold 20k tickets.

Are there going to be any tickets left to sell at the gates?

Bm has sold about 2,500. They think they will sell another 1,000. Bm expects half of ticket sales to be at the gate

This is dumb. Ruston is battle tested. Destrehan’s schedule is extremely soft. Ruston will be by far the best team they’ve played this year. Destrehan might not crack the top 3 of teams Ruston has played.

Union Parish is much more battle tested than Abbeville, and should upset the #2 seed.

Ain't me but I like his style!

Destrehan will beat Ruston.

Zachary will beat WM.

Ponchatoula will beat Ouachita.

Acadiana will beat Parkway.

Man would it be awesome to see my little alma mater St. Fred's in the dome.

They've got some really good players on their squad but they all have to play both ways the entire game.

Doesn't hinder OCS

The Warriors at St Fred has found new life with a new coaching staff.

Sadly for the Warriors, the run into a buzz-saw in Southern Lab.
Southern Lab wins comfortable.

Good luck and safe travels to everyone.

I think it will be closer than you think. If St Fred doesn't turn the ball over they can compete with anyone in Div IV. Yes Southern should beat them but the last time these two played in the semis the warriors were big underdogs and won. Hope their little cinderella run continues.

Soooo the higher seeds will all do what they're supposed to do and actually win. Way to go out on a limb. Not saying it won't happen. Saying you're not exactly Nostradamus for taking the favorites.

You are a high school football guru. How does my Green Wave match up with Ouachita?

I appreciate that. These days, I only know about the teens in the Lafayette area.

I picked Ponchatoula in my bracket

I don't foresee NLA having a lot of success Friday. I was told Zachary was considerably better than WM at the scrimmage. I didn't go, so I can't say that 100%. Coming into the year I thought WM matched up well with Zachary as this is the best secondary since 1997. Will have to be all hands on deck for as much as they can play to have a chance imo.

Ruston has the best chance of winning which makes sense considering its a 4 vs 5 match up. Ouachita just isn't there in year 1 to beat Ponchatoula imo. Acadiana is just better than Parkway as well. Should be a relatively easy Friday for South LA.

That being said...the most upsets happen the week of Thanksgiving. You're out all week, you don't have control of your players, etc. It actually might be better to be the visitors just because you have your guys the entire day. If you're at home, you'll have guys hunting, Black Friday shopping with the family, sitting around watching football games, etc.
