What the hell are you talking about? Did Lebron not leave Cleveland because he couldn't get to the FINALS with the CAVS?
The Magic winning that series certainly didn't help Lebron, but he could have won that series, lost in the FInals, and still decided to leave CLE.

Safe to say if he would've made the finals in one of those 3 years he would've stuck around
This makes no sense.

Does anyone think Yao could make it as an international or contributor to the game? Possibly a longshot, but he has been huge for the popularity of the sport in China.
Wouldn't surprise me. The foreign angle gives a lot of guys a better shot.

I agree but if he at least MAKES the Finals I reckon he has a harder time leaving CLE. He couldn't even get there those last 3 years.

I dominate these threads like D12 dominates the paint.
Now if this just you are being purposefully obtuse, then whatever. But if not, I hope you are not the sole decision maker of anything remotely complicated.

I was thinking more along the lines of, you throw fits in these threads like Dwit does on the court.

I would really support Yao getting in. He had all of the talent, and he is a great guy. Just couldn't stay healthy. It's a shame.

Doesn't take a master logician to decipher that if CLE would've made the finals it's less likely that he leaves. He left to win titles. Well he wasn't even close...couldn't even reach the finals. If he had made the finals he would've been closer to a championship and more likely to stay. Heck he may have even won one.

Hey Boom, if this was the MLB, Howard would most definitely go into the Hall as a Magic (assuming they pick it.) How does that make you feel?

Don't care one bit bro
Posted on 6/4/15 at 10:20 am to SwaggerCopter
What he did for Chinese basketball is almost enough to get in on its own merits.

If so, Yao should be a lock, really.

quote:Well duh. That's a long way from Dwight is a HUGE reason (or excuse if using your vocabulary definitions) he left. Like I said a factor of a factor of a factor can only lead to that being a small percentage of his decision.

Wait wait, so let's say the Cavs make the Finals and lose in game 7 in Lebrons last year there.
Do you think he is as likely to leave CLE after a game 7 Finals loss as he is when he doesn't even Make the Finals? NO WAY he leaves if they make the Finals and lose in G7.

Yeah. I can't think of another international player that has had so much impact on his own country. Not Dirk with Germany. Nor Nash with Canada.

BS..your problem is trying to apply your definitions to the words I'm using. Semantics bro.
