LeBron was putting up much better numbers as a freshman in high school than Bronny is as a junior.
Unfair to compare the kid to Lebron who is up with Kareem/ Wilt as greatest HS players/ prospects ever. Bron Jr already has 2 ex HS teammates on NBA rosters & a 3rd in the G League( D Wade's son). Lebron never played with any future NBA players in HS & obviously was asked to do more ( scoring especially ) than his son.

I don't keep up HS recruiting, but I wouldn't doubt Bron Jr is teamed up with a couple NBA prospects today. Not implying he's anywhere as good as his dad though.

I completely understand where Lebron is coming from for once. I don't think I'd want to do it long term, but I'd love a year or so to work with my dad. He's retired now, but maybe we can open up a small business together if he ever moves closer to me.

This sounds like nothing more than LeBron sending out a message to teams, my son is not good enough, but draft him and I’ll come pla for your franchise. No thanks

I understand the sentiment, but building porch swings together is a little different than being NBA players together.

He might be finishing his career in turkey or overseas or make him suit up in Las Vegas summer league

Couldn't his son just sign as a free agent somewhere? Obviously he wouldn't get as much money.

Is Bronny a one and done NBA talent?

People will say no but it’s honestly pretty tough to tell. People ranked lower then him have been one and done and been drafted (not usually highly though)

His son is a junior in highschool this year? Still possible he could have a growth spurt and develop more his senior year.

At 40 years old? Let’s re-visit this in 3 years
It's also less than likely Bronny will be good enough to be 1 and done. Hell, he may never make an NBA team, but he also may have to go to school for any number of years more than just 1 before he may be NBA ready.

I can’t get past how big of a dick Lebron is for talking about how his 17 year old son will be in the NBA in 3 years. How bout you just encourage him to go to college and enjoy his life. The kid doesn’t have a family to support. What a completely shitty thing for a father to say.

This has been speculated by fans for like the past 2 years, but I guess this is the first time LeBron has officially confirmed

Can’t wait for this China Douche to retire. Good riddance. Any chance his son doesn’t get drafted and he looks like an idiot?

the problem is going to be even if he’s a marginal NBA talent worth burning a draft pick on, teams have to decide whether they also want the lebrony circus to come to town.

Best possible scenario would be a team drafts him and then tells lebron “nah”
