Lebron, you didn't build that.

so they shouldn't ever bitch about money. Completely ignoring the fact that the owners make billions.
They should never be stupid enough to use a slavery analogy
That's the entire point. Want to defend it?

Lebron doesn’t understand business, does he?

Evidently not. But that's not surprising.

My business, do what I tell you or you're fired is how it works for the rest of us who can't put a ball through a hoop Bronnie.

They don't have to at all. Where else is LeBron going to go to make that kind of money? Even as big as basketball is getting the salaries overseas are not in the same ballpark. MAYBE somehow someway they would come up with it for LeBron but how about Solomon Hill? No fricking way, he makes like quadruple what the highest paid EuroLeague player gets.
The 29 other owners wouldn’t play nice and fork over nine figure contracts to Lebron?
His point about QB’s and their equivalency is also spot on. You’re just in here pigeon-shitting all over the board. It’s two different economic models, both of which make fortunes for many involved.
I’d like to see Lebron manage an NFL team. I’m sure his tune would change with a quickness.

So MJ owns Lebron both on and off the court.

Well, he's a high school graduate and they probably made him go to a class one time.

Lebron is the worst kind of idiot, one that fancies himself as a real intellectual but is really just confusing using lots of words and rhetoric for intelligent thoughts

It's just odd that in a millionaires vs billionaires money fight, most people default to the millionaires being greedy
This has nothing to do with how the slavery analogy is as absurd as it gets
Slaves couldn’t quit their jobs, these people can. Slaves didn’t get paid, these people make more in a season than any of us do in ten years.

LeBron type people are a reason why we have consistent discord in the country at the moment between differing races, parties and ideologies.. Envoking slavery in this type of argument is rudimentary and meant to stoke anger and emotion without even scratching the surface of what he truly believes.. Its lazy commentary on the differences between the leagues trying to belittle one and show how much better and progressive the NBA has become. He wants to be beyond sports, that’s great but he divides people into groups and paints those not within his purview as antiquated and IMO is waisting a good opportunity

there are a lot of mental gymnastics that go on around here
Yeah like trying to compare decisions that affect the competitiveness of the league to the dynamic between ownership and players. Completely different conversation

This is the point getting under most of y’all skin...It’s the one statement y’all can’t refute...because who would want to see a all-white league
How exactly are the black people in theNFL being specifically oppressed?
