I’d have to agree with Lance on this take.
Hell even when Michael Phelps was dominating swimming his competitors at least gave him a run for his money.
The level of pure dominance happening right now is just absurd.

I'm really disappointed the GC is most likely decided already.
Then I remembered 2020 penultimate stage when Roglic presumably had it wrapped up with nearly 1 min lead until Pogacar beat him in the ITT by almost 2 mins.
I was on the La Planche des Belles Filles that day and fortunate to see a performance that marks a key point in the start of Pogacar's GOAT run.
So, maybe there's still hope something unexpected happens and we still get a GC race but doubtful.
Then I remembered 2020 penultimate stage when Roglic presumably had it wrapped up with nearly 1 min lead until Pogacar beat him in the ITT by almost 2 mins.

Pogacar in his prime and Roglic are two entirely different animals. Only way Pogi loses is if he crashes.

Went to the first three stages in Barcelona. Was at the top of the second to last climb for stage 1. Was at the downhill turn onto Paral•el for stage 2 and saw the team intros and departure in Granollers for stage 3. We got three laps on the downhill turn. Watching those guys fly by was exhilarating.
We were going to try to go to the mountains or finish for the third stage but they were telling people to stay away from the finish due to some fires in the area so we just caught the start and called it a day. That was the hottest of the 3 days in Spain.

This green jersey fight is the most interesting now. Does Mads and his team try to frick the true sprinters tomorrow? I say yes. Stages like tomorrow are the only way he can compete for that jersey. Drop their asses on these hilly stages and contest the sprint points.

YouTube has a good NBC Sports highlights video of each stage. Goes up not long after the stage. About 30 minutes each.
