He does have a point but as usual the way he makes it makes him look lame.

He's right.
Why would anyone burn IT's jersey? Makes no sense.

Like 1 guy made a jersey burning video and somehow people are acting like every Celtics fan is out there burning jerseys

shut the frick up Lebron James.

Durant is really the only move that has looked really bad imo.
I think Lebron going to the Lakers or something would look really bad too though.

What else does he think fans are supposed to do with jerseys for players that no longer play for their team...especially when the player publicly demanded a trade? Either toss it in the trash or burn it and post online for some laughs. Lebron so sensitive.

I've known women who are less sensitive than Lebron.
Shocked he has all this time to spread gossip, whine about derelict fans and cry about Trump, with the graffiti person still at large

Besides this is clearly about the extent of the anger and hate people exhibit when a player changes teams; it often goes well beyond what is normal.

Sounds like residual butt hurt from The Decision combined with a possible move to LA next season.
People don't like it when a star leaves. How a star handles themselves on the way out also plays into the response.
Kyrie wanted out with multiple years left on his contract despite being on a finals team which won a title the year before. Of course Cavs fans will be pissy... they already had their big star walk away from them on national TV before.

quote:Well the "trade" part is clearly about IT, not Kyrie, unless Kyrie also has a sister and she died in last year's playoffs.

When you start burning clothes because a player doesn't want to play for your team anymore, it's time to take a step back and re-evaluate things.

When will these crybaby athletes start to understand that part of the deal with them getting paid nearly $50M dollars a year is that they are open to criticism from the public.
You give me $50M just one time and say whatever the hell you want about me.
Lebron is soft, and a poor example. His mental fortitude does not match is athletic ability.
Lastly, this reads a bit like a man defending his own decision.

Again, these star athletes are so far removed from real life. He had to get up and go to work just like the rest of us would be expected to. It's not like I don't feel for the guy, wouldn't wish that upon anyone, but the fact is that many people wouldn't have a choice but to get back to work after something like that, so it isn't an issue he should get a pass on.

Nothing to even comment on LeBron. If I were you and it bothered me I would go take a dive in my room full of cash and swim around Scrooge McDuck style
