Good God. The guys on LaTech BBB are morons. Some there are saying that the Indy Bowl screwed Tech because Tech wanted more time to see if something better came up. Indy told us to piss off and moved on.

This is the truth moron. It sucks. And I think the AD should leave, and Dan should just go ahead and retire this week instead of waiting till summer 2013.

why the I bowl let Tech back after Tech took a shite on them? Good for the I Bowl not letting them back in.

Agreed. The homers over at BBB seem to think the Indy Bowl should have waited around for God's gift to football. Tech said we'll get back to you if nothing better comes along. Indy bowl said go frick yourselves.

But ohhhh lordy lordy its those fricking LSU hacks on the Indy bowl committee that are just out to screw La Tech. Seriously, go read the idiots on that board.

"All is not what it may seem with @LATechFB and Independence Bowl. Our source: Tech was in line for Liberty Bowl---if three things happened... Kent State win; Texas loss; OU win. All 3 take place---but NIU surprises with BCS. Liberty then pulls switcheroo by taking 6-6 Iowa State to face Tulsa. My source says Tech CALLS I-Bowl back today---asks back in... I-Bowl denies Tech. Why did I-Bowl not wait to see how things fleshed out before sending out invitation? Tech hoped to play in higher payout bowl game (Liberty). Yes, @LATechFB could have played their cards much different. But it appears I-Bowl is also guilty of letting emotion get in the way."

You calling me a moron? It agree its the truth that Tech asked for more time. But the only one that screwed La Tech was La Tech itself. The Indy Bowl owes Tech nothing. Tech gave them the middle finger.

Wait, WHAT?

Well, to be fair...those bowls he was vying for would have been closer.

Screw the lsu hacks and homers on the IBowl committee. They knew exactly what they were doing. The IBowl Committee, once they lost their conference tie in slots, didn't give a rip who they invited. And if they could screw over TECH all the better. Yes Tech ADMs gambled and rightly so as we all would have rather a HOD and Liberty Bowl slot which was looking great up until N.Ill slips into a BCS Bowl and really messes up the world. TECH grads should never ever attend an IBowl again!!

Those mean old I-bowl reps! They were out to frick La Tech by inviting them to their bowl game.

I'm sure Tech will be fine without a trip to Shreveport. Other than extending the practice season, there was nothing to gain for the Techsters.

Wouldn't it be nice to hire a person doing it for university, and not somebody doing it for a bigger and better job in their mind?

is exactly what is wrong with our university. Now it's time to get former athletes to run our program. I'm 6"9 and not hard to find.

Right, no way Tech could have used part of the million dollar payout.

I love how some Tech fans are blaming the I Bowl. I wouldn't want to be Tech's sloppy seconds either. Say bye to extra practices, money, and some national exposure.
