I honestly don't think it'll happen even if Tech wins out....if we had beaten TAMU it would be a better possibility. Regardless of this & our lack of a thing called DeFENSE, it's a very exciting year for Tech....a non BCS bowl won't diminish that.
The LSU rantards on here seem extremely bitter that their offense isn't as exciting to watch as Tech's.....and maybe its cause they aren't getting all the attention anymore

No, most people don't want to see a team who has beaten nobody with a pulse make a BCS game to be slaughtered, ala Hawaii a few years ago. Tech hasn't beaten any teams worth much yet here their fans crow all day long about how good they are. Not only that but Tech cannot even sell out their small stadium in Ruston. How on earth would that kind of following be attractive to a BCS bowl? Nobody from LSU is bitter over "not getting the attention" as we get a lot more coverage than lowly Tech and their WAC games.

If La. Tech. dominated the weaker teams on their schedule, they'd get more respect from the pollsters despite the loss to Texas A&M, but they're struggling with these teams.

To be fair...that Freshman QB is the best QB in the conference and should be in the conversation for Heisman
