Of course. When people are going to finally realize run first quarterbacks don’t win championships?

Drew Brees hasn’t beaten a non wildcard playoff team since 2009.

The Ravens didnt even try to run the football. Gus Edwards gashed them early and never saw the field again.

Most insecure post of the year candidate.

Who was talking about Brees?

It's just interesting to see people talking smack when their Golden boy failed to seal the deal in similar fashion.

Drew lost by being a no talent run-first QB?

No?

Then its not in similar fashion. See the point now?

Brees has something Lamar will never have, a Super Bowl MVP.

Lamar is going to get the playoff choker monicker if he’s not careful. The Titans executed a perfect game plan though. I thought that game was going to be terrible. Glad I didn’t bet it.

Clay Travis is going to be insufferable on Lock it In Monday.

They had some huge drops. Which kept him from getting in rhythm. One was for a Td to cut it to one score with 4 min left. He hit thst dudr in the chest with the ball.

Dude is just in his 2nd season. Threw 36 TDs and 6 INTs.

Who knows what he’ll turn out to be, but some of you are just like the Stephen A Smith idiot, saying ignorant stuff trying to sound edgy.

this^^

and 'run first' doesn't mean that the QB isn't good at it

It means that running is usually in the second choice category

Come on man. I understand some of the Lamar hate around here, but "no talent"?

He won a Heisman (which all of the sudden means something on this website) and is this year's NFL MVP. Sounds like he has a little talent, no?

Here's my analysis of this game. First off I would have picked the Ravens to win but I am not surprised they didn't. I think the Ravens probably win this game 8 out of 10 times but last night the game played out the exact way it had to for the Titans to win. Jump out ahead and stay ahead. Both teams foundations are built on running the ball and neither was built to come back from a big deficit. That is one reason why the Ravens went away from running the ball. Everything fell perfectly for the Titans, were gifted an early turnover when the Ravens were moving the ball on their first drive and scored off of it to take the lead. Stopped the Ravens on a 4th and 1 on the next possession and scored again immediately afterwards. You could make a case that the same aggressiveness that Harbaugh pushed successfully all year came back to bite them in this game. Punt the ball there and kick the field goal on the next fourth down attempt and the game may have turned out differently.

The other reason I'm not surprised that the Titans won was that Baltimore had gone about three months without playing a flat, out of sync type game. They were due. The problem with coming into the playoffs as a #1 seed with a 12 game winning streak is that in order to win a Super Bowl you have to win 15 games in a row. That is hard to do no matter how good your team is, especially when the last three games are against three of the best teams you've played all year. I would have liked their chances more if they had played a WTF game against the Jets or the Rams and had lost. The fact that many of their key players had not seen meaningful playing time for three weeks only added to the possibility of coming out missing a cylinder or two. Also all of that idle time may have resulted in giving Jackson a chance to put more pressure on himself by giving nothing to do except reflect on the loss to the Chargers in last year's playoffs. Put him at least a few series in the last game against the Steelers and it would have given him a week to concentrate on something other than trying to redeem himself for last year's playoff loss.
