What do you mean? He’s smart for not wanting a failed venture?

Listening to the local sports talk radio station today and the the on air guy was a defending how smart Kyrie was because he went to Duke

Good. Start your own league from the "chains" of your "masters"

Have absolutely no problem with this and in fact hope he takes steps to do it. I’m sure when he finds out what it takes to pay concession workers will call booths etc he will have a new found respect for the current team owners

Some old white guy would own that league in less than 5 years.

I wonder How many basketball players contracts allow them to play basketball for other teams.

You think arenas don’t have a payroll department?

He'd be in a padded cell if he couldn't play basketball.

The next time people tell you how it’s hard to be a football coach at smart schools because they don’t bend admissions for athletes, remember Kyrie Irving went to duke

Kyrie is going to take the Lakers title chances away this year, isn’t he?

wrong dude. playoff happening.. players have one week to decide and then let the team know
Posted on 6/16/20 at 8:30 pm to Wild Thang
People are going to have to decide. Do they want to take down Trump and have no commerce, or do they want to see cool things like Stanley Cup playoffs and LeBron winning a ring in a third city or getting his heart ripped out by Harden/Kawhi/Giannis?

This is a direct action against the Union. His contract should be nullifed, he should be fined heavily and suspended indefinitely. He is in violation of his contract and harming the league. I doubt they would take a hard line against him. But push back is going to happen at some point..

His attorney will say he's looking out for the safety of the players and social justice.
