Just gets worse.

Pretty numb from this. Haven’t been hit this hard by a celebrity death. Pretty surreal.

You know they had made that trip several times before and it was probably routine for them.

Crying over a player. Are we in bizarro world. Have you not lost a best friend, a parent, a close relative? Grandparents? That achieved a shite ton on their own.

Stfu bitch

You wouldn't have the guts to say that to my face. Neither of any of internet badasses. Losing a loved one is way worse than this. Way worse! Get over you love affair for a player, regardless of sport.

Lose a loved one and see how bad that really hurts.

Where the frick did anyone say anything about this being worse than a loved one?

It’s still a loss that hurts for people that grew up watching him. Get over yourself dude

To confirm my stepdad Rick Fox is ALIVE and safe! I just got off the phone with my sister. We are all in shock and deeply saddened but please don’t spread false news. #ripkobe

I'm just pointing out that I bet ESPN is a even frustrated it took them so long, relatively speaking, to report it.

Probably not. Regular people didn't really believe until ESPN reported. And ESPN is unique in that many of these people had long relationships with Kobe as they do with many athletes. I don't think they are thinking in a cut throat manner on this one.

You are correct. And I’m discussing the ridiculousness of comparing deaths.

Three other people (besides the pilot) were his daughter, daughter’s teammate, and that kid’s parent
