They showed the players in Rockets Nuggets learning about it as they warmed up, pretty crazy. This is an eerie game atmosphere

The reports are just all over the place. From it being all of his daughters who were with him, to it being Rick Fox and two of hid daughters, etc.

Some people are going to look really bad by not being careful in their reporting.

It’s ridiculous how every time news breaks like this the need to report something first outweighs reporting something accurately.

Oh my. Hypocrisy is awesome. You guys are mad they got scooped but get pissed when locals and other nationals start throwing out things. No matter what ESPN does you guys bitch.

I’m with you on this. If you want to maintain journalistic integrity, you’ll have at least two independent sources that you can use to verify a story. As you might imagine, finding two sources to verify something will put you behind people who aren’t looking for that same verification.

IF they were waiting for proper verification, that should be applauded, not mocked.

Why does one death need to be bigger than the other? It’s a human life taken too early. Both are tragic and it’s ridiculous to compare them. Go tell that to Payne Stewart’s family.

It’s a discussion on a sports message board. None of us knew either of them.

I'm not mad. You absolutely have to get confirmation too. I'm just pointing out that I bet ESPN is a even frustrated it took them so long, relatively speaking, to report it.
