What are you talking about?

I didn't even mention Lebron, are you ok?

I like how you’re arguing in a condescending fashion towards me. It isn’t my opinion for the record, but it is the opinion of many basketball fans around the country. I’m just telling you that him winning these easy titles isn’t going to make the criticisms go away, it’s going to do the opposite

this is the stupidest thing posted tonight. Let that statement sink in. Think of all the awful, horrible, stupid things posted tonight. This right here takes the cake

Over the hill DWade??? He was easily the second best player in the eastern conference in 2010, and some would have said the second best player in the league. That’s the irony of this whole thing. Lebron tried to do exactly what KD has done but wasn’t as successful. Lebron set the precedent, KD just picked the better situation.

Everything I said was based on the logic you presented. You don't have to like it, but it is so.

History won't care, that's only short term. 35 years from now, people will only care that he won a shite ton of titles and Finals MVPs. History wouldn't remember him remotely as kindly if he stayed in OKC and didn't rack up nearly the amount accolades he will in GS.

Wade was still the best player on that team at first

Ah, so KD shouldn't have chosen the route that gave him the best chance to win titles and Finals MVPs?

I think we will agree again. Have been a fan of Dirk’s throughout most of his 20 seasons and he’s only won one title. Durant won two titles and two Finals MVP’s in his first two years with GS. If the stars decide to quit weathering futile seasons while surrounded by inefficient teammates and move on, their reasoning is perfectly understandable. I believe the NBA will have to make big changes to allow the smaller market teams the chance to compete or else just do away with them. New Orleans better keep rising, or else Davis will be gone too.

Wade was close that first year? But LeBron was still better.

Lebron didn't just lead Wade in virtually every single category in 2011, he led the entire NBA in PER, WS, WS/48, BPM, and VORP. That along with FG%, TS%, points, rebounds, assists.

Wade did lead him in steals and blocks, but that's about it.

The idea that Wade was better is, well, pretty bad.

Wade wasn't better but he wasn't over the hill either like that poster said.

That is true, so they both incorrectly went to the extreme.

Wade was nowhere near over the hill, and he was also nowhere near as good as Lebron.

You made a post that seemed to question why people would still criticize his decision. I told you why. It may seem illogical to you, but the criticisms exist and they aren’t going away regardless of what more he does on this warriors team. You may or not be right about history forgetting about the context. That remains to be seen. In my opinion it will probably be harder to forget 35 years from now than it would be now to forget about something 35 years ago, due to how much media coverage we have now

My post doesn't "seem to" question, it absolutely questions those who criticize. 2 titles and 2 Finals MVPs validates that.

I'm aware they exist. They are also illogical.

You're right on the 35 years from now is different than 35 years ago but, if say, KD stayed in OKC and never sniffed another Finals, there is no way to argue he would be viewed as kindly 35 years from now than he will be by going to GS IMO.

Meant to say past his prime. He was still good but he was slowed by a bunch by injuries. He was not the D wade of years past. LeBron carried the heat to that second title.

I mean, he went for 27/6/5 on 50% shooting and around a 26 PER in year 1 with Lebron.
