this is something that was insane about 10 years ago in the NBA and is now normal

i think the rationality of players today irks people who want to promote irrational-emotional mythologies

as I've said, I enjoy the move for KD, especially to see how the steph/klay/dray dynamic improves (or even regresses) with KD in the lineup.

one thing for sure, this dude is a much better option than barnes

Curry and KD know they won't be able to defeat LeGOAT on their own.

I blame the league, it's their job to make it competitive, not the players.

People killed Bron for it
and that doesn't make it any less ridiculous. Why shouldn't Durant be looking for the best option for himself? Why would anyone turn down an opportunity to work with the best organization in whatever business they are in?

Curry and KD both are pretty passive. Neither are alphas in terms of being unquestioned leaders.

People are criticizing a great player who looks like has to run to other great players and a great team to win a title.

that's what it takes to win titles. KD wasn't going to have that in OKC b/c there wasn't an avenue for that 3rd piece

People keep saying this was like Lebron going to Miami. But it isnt even close. Miami was not coming off of back to finals. This is almost the equivalent of after Lebron losing to the Celtics, he goes to join them.

Or better yet he goes to join the Spurs.

I generally liked KD, GS, all of them.. Now i am forced to hate them.

you'd lose money on that bet probably 85-90% of the time

there is no guarantee OKC would even be a top 3 seed next year

OKC went to enough WCFs to make that a pretty good bet.

As for Durant, kind of disappointed in this, wanted to see this new OKC lineup play out...

a 1 year deal would have been sweet.

The Warriors are officially in villain status,

what can the league do?

they give EVERY incentive for teams to keep their FAs

if the FAs give up a ton of money, what can the NBA do?

Russ and KD played hero ball in that game.

He had warriors down 3-1 and lost series. He's weak and is hiding behind better players. LeBron showed everyone how to beat golden state and it will be no different. Just another wimp standing around the 3 point line waiting for a shot. Draymond has to be pissed that they signed another pussy on his team....hopefully he joins LeBron after next year
