I don't understand why the GA was hooking up recruits after he left and went to Mizzou. That sounds like a huge problem for UL.

I don't think they'd (ESPN) run with something this big unless they had some decent evidence other than just her accusations.
Lack of evidence didn't stop then from going ahead with stories they knew were either speculative at best or completely fabricated, usually by their own employees (Craig James, Joe Schad, Chris Mortensen).
For example, Mike Leach's firing at Texas Tech (vindicated by depositions, public records in Dallas Morning News, including emails confirming the conspiracy between TT administration and ESPN, Texas Supreme Court, sued ESPN for defamation for $25M).
Sean Payton & Bountygate, disproven by Wall Street journal investigation and the NFL's total lack of evidence, the totally false "listening device" Mickey Loomis had in his suite, confirmed by state police investigation.
Or that basketball coach at Syracuse they said was a pedophile, who later sued Syracuse for wrongful termination successfully.
Most recently knowingly publishing the NFL's lies about under inflated footballs in Deflategate through Chris Mortensen they later retracted during the last west coast sports center broadcast when everyone was asleep. The ideal gas law is still true even when ESPN and the NFL deny it.
ESPN is in the business of making (up) news and they have no integrity whatsoever in what they do to make news. They're no different than Dan Rather or anyone else in the (liberal) media.

Wow, just watched the OTL piece. That was way more damning than I expected. There's already way too much evidence for this not to blow up in Louisville's face.
I really don't see how Pitino wouldn't know about this. 3 months after McGee left for UMKC he called Powell and her daughter to meet up with Blakeney in a Louisville hotel. OTL then showed an Instagram DM between Powell's daughter and Blakeney that confirmed it. Who called McGee to set that one up? That's the question.
Also, frick Powell for pimping out her daughters with every intention of making this public. She should be in jail.

If he didn't know, he should be fired for incompetence.
I don't see how either the coach or the AD didn't know. No GA makes enough money to pay these women, and the whole idea of a rogue assistant, flush with extra cash he found at the end of a rainbow, is laughable.
The money has to come through the AD, via some boosters, and everyone had to know what is happening.
Rehiring Bobby Petrino now pales in comparison for this AD. I don't see how either coach or AD survives if any of this is true.

I like how she appeared insulted at the notion her daughters were underage when she whored them out. Yes I'm willing to whore out my daughters but only when they're of legal age damnit!

Additionally, the interviewer allowed her to blatantly speculate on Pitino's involvement with no challenge whatsoever. She started a statement with "Here's my theory..." and went on to just fabricate why she thinks a head coach would know about everything and the interviewer again sat there and let it go unchecked.
By not showing any balance, this whole ESPN story screams "HIT PIECE" to me.

I'm still baffled they didn't pull a hotter chick. You're one of the top programs in the country and you give your guys a mid-major level stripper.
What kind of woman do you think would agree to sleep with a bunch of random teenagers year after year? Not any good looking ones that's for sure.

I know the pickens might be slim in Louisville, but that's the best they could do. I'd rather frick Seabiscuit.

What the frick does ESPN care if her daughters were legal when they were whoring. That's a question for Louisville PD to ask.

If you don't believe something close to what she alleges happened at this point then you just don't want to believe. Even Pitino is like don't ask me, that shite is Andre's fault.
