No he didn’t. He said UConn always has guys who can shoot like Rip Hamilton or the best 3 point shooter of all time, presumably Ray Allen but he got distracted and didn’t finish his thought.

No, after Jordan Hawkins made a couple of 3's he actually said that UConn has always had a guy that can shoot and make three's. He gave Rip Hamilton as an example, then he said "and of course the greatest 3 point shooter of all time". He was then interrupted and never finished his thought. Of course, he was talking about Ray Allen.

Rip was one of the best mid range shooters.
