Guy is an absolute fraud and the Chargers franchise isn't going anywhere paying that bozo as one of the top qbs

He’s the epitome of a guy you can’t pay $60 million and win a Super Bowl with. Hes a nice players, but when he’s taking a third of your cap you can’t surround him with enough to win anything of consequence. There’s 20 of those guys in the league, and 5 or so real winners.
Can’t let him walk, but also can’t pay him the market rate and expect to compete at the highest level

f your only argument for him is that he beat a team that went 9-8 and missed the playoffs, then no, he isn’t good
The best QB in the league had never beat him and been outdueled each time. I think the fact Burrow looks up to him as superior means he’s good

I was going to post this. I never understood Coward’s infatuation with Herbert because I never saw it. He is obviously good, but certainly not elite in the NFL.

Agree. He’s a good NFL QB. Anyone who tries to say he’s not is an idiot.
But he’s not Burrow, Allen or Mahomes. You can’t throw the load on his back and say, “Go out and win these playoff games for us” without a solid supporting staff of players around him.
I just don’t see how the Chargers can hit the reset button, though. Certainly not the upcoming draft.

Herbert and Trevor Lawrence are the most overrated players in the sport

Tony Romo 2.0
Too good of a QB to move on from, but will never win anything of substance.

One of the shittiest playoff QBs I've ever seen. BEYOND overrated.

You take that back. Joe Burrow is the greatest QB to ever walk the face of this earth.

He was pretty good all season but not yesterday.
Two of those Int's were not his fault though.

Too bad Burrow is still better.
This board needs to get over Burrow.

I thought the Bengals went to the Super Bowl a couple of years ago and the AFC Championship game a year or two after that.
