Who cares who is the #1 seed at this point?

At this point, no one with a pulse, but in a couple of weeks it’s a big deal.

I realize that’s not popular right now, but it’s the truth.

This is a tragic event. I would think resuming this game from the point it was stopped tomorrow or Wednesday is perfectly acceptable, teams can play their next game next Monday night.

NFL is a business. Both teams have to move on. #1 seed is a big deal. You have to play the games.

Because the dude might legitimately die.

If they don’t play this game tomorrow then it’s not safe to play on short notice next week.

This is uncharted territory.

Dickhead, I was on no info and all of the threads were talking about the ramifications of it, with no details. The TV graphic just said he 'collapsed.'

So I thought I'd just ask. So suck a turd.

Rare, but not uncharted for sports.

Hell, it happened to Christian Eriksen a summer ago during one of the biggest tournaments in the world.

Is a tough pill but what would show the most sincerity and strong leadership would be for the bills to extend a forfeit. This allows them to head home and focus on the best interest of their players/families

Too many playoff implications to call it a draw.

The injury or whatever it was doesn't seem to have been the result of the hit. It was just a routine hit. How do they know he doesn't have an undiagnosed heart condition or blood clot or aneurism, etc? They keep saying this is the result of the risk of football, but it really didn't seem to be a football injury.

The message on MNF right now is that 'these men risk their lives every week.' It's horrible for the player, and I'm not saying they should continue the game, but the whole thing seems a little bizarre.

It's such uncharted water for something like this to happen at all let alone this late in the season. I'm not sure there's a right or wrong answer how to handle the game, unless you're the league and wanted them to immediately continue, then you're an idiot.

Question: Assuming both the Bills and Chiefs win next week, why can't the NFL do what college football does and have the Chiefs and Bills play each other on a neutral field if they match up in the playoffs? Put the game at a location that is fairly equidistant to both cities like Indianapolis and give an equal number of tickets to Chiefs and Bills fans. That way, no team gains an advantage or gets unfairly punished for a situation completely outside of their control.
