Seven-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Julio Jones is signing a one-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, per source. The soon-to-be 45-year Tom Brady now will have a chance to throw to the 33-year-old Jones.

More on ESPN’s NFL Live.

I honestly thought Julio was older than 33.

I thought he shattered both of legs like 6 times in car accidents and can't play any more?

Wild how quickly these turns. Got dealt for a 2nd rounder less than a year ago, and now is a July camp FA pick up

If he makes the team and stays healthy, he’ll have his return to Atlanta

May mean Godwin won’t be ready for start of the season.

They actually announced he’s been cleared for camp ahead of schedule

It would be ironic based on how his career went in Atlanta, if they solely used him as a redzone target and he ended up with not much yardage or catches but 9-10 TDs

Could he move to Gronks role as a receiving TE?

Jones has the size. Wouldn't really have to block. Just get into people's way. Could give his career a 2nd wind.

I’m thinking 402 yards, 7 TDs if he stays somewhat healthy

TE is the hardest non QB position to learn and play. Idk why people seem to think you can just throw some dude out there in that role

And Julio is 45 pounds lighter than Gronk. Plus they signed Kyle Rudolph. So to answer your question, no

He's going to have one 200 yard game, everyone will pick him up off the waiver and he will never have a game over 100 yards the rest of the season.
