"I grew up where conduct spoke louder than words," Judge Gary Libey said.

Judge orders that WSU and OSU will be the only two governing members of the Pac-12 board. Provides that the other 10 schools are allowed discussion and comments, but not votes.

This could get interesting and potentially hilarious.

Sure this will be appealed

A lot of conference money headed to Oregon St and Washington St...well deserved and frick the other schools for trying to hang onto every penny while fleeing the conference.

"After a meeting of the board, it has been decided that Oregon State and Washington State will be the conference representatives in Las Vegas. Well, would you believe that."

I wonder what this does for the PAC and expansion??? It seems that Oregon St and Washington St have some serious power in that regard now…no? Those two should immediately raid the MWC for new members. The PAC brand is way more valuable than the MWC…would those schools all join the PAC??? Could they convince Cal and Stanford to stay now?

PAC 12:

Oregon St
Washington St
Cal
Stanford
Colorado St
Wyoming
Utah St
Nevada
New Mexico
Boise St
San Diego St
Hawaii

They could all do FAR worse…

They can just change conf champ rules so “4th and 6th place teams play for CCG”, right?

They should make all members leaving the conference ineligible for the PAC-12 championship game.

It will be appealed but the other 10 schools don’t have a leg to stand on. The conference bylaws literally state that a school looks its vote when it notifies the conference that they are leaving. Not only that but the PAC 12-2 enacted that policy when USC/UCLA announced they were leaving.

Yeah, this is not the end of it.

EDIT: According to NCAA bylaws, an FBS conference has to have eight full FBS members to satisfy all bowl subdivision requirements. But they get a 2-year grace period on that.

And accomplish what? They aren’t going to keep their auto-bid to the CFP, they would just be a glorified G5 conference anyway.
