Cowherd has actually been nailing this issue. I've agreed with almost everything he's said

Now I can see why PSU didn't want Joe talking yesterday. Dude is a POS and a disgrace of a human being after reading his statement.

Their message boards/blogs are all behind Joe Pa and I don't mean just the football ones.

Link? Every fellow alumni I've spoken with says he needs to go now.

I don't know about boards, but there was a fricking pep rally outside JoePa's house last night plus a mini-riot on campus afterward in support of him.

There is a Vaccuum of leadership. Radio silence while the biggest scandal in history is unfolding. Hunkering down behind closed walls issuing lame statements. The president issues a plege of "unconditional support" for Curley and Schultz. REally????

They won't stand up and face the music, sending a pin head in the marketing department to cancel a press conference. Ridiculous.

The true good people of PSU should stand up and demand better.

Fourth, the presentment says Schultz "oversaw the university police as part of his position," although "he never reported the 2002 incident to the University Police or other police agency."

Let's stop there to consider enraged demands that Paterno should have contacted "the police" about the allegation. He did contact police. Schultz headed the campus police force, which has as much authority as any other police force.

That was a very small group of mostly freshman idiots. You realize how large PSU is right?

and he was told what ? That Sandusky was just having an innocent shower with a ten year old boy ? That Mike McQueary lied to him about seeing the rape ?

That is all fine... but he still allowed that POS to roam around campus and use their facilities.

And even saw him with a kid at one of the practices in 2007.

He knew nothing had been done and he is morally responsible for other getting abused after this incident.

Once again, frick joe paterno.

And old Paterno gets to "coach" 4, possibly 5, more games for Penn State, all the while more victims come forward.

What a disgrace Penn State is
