So you think she should get no punishment for calling him a slur and starting it? Why not just make murder legal for women since they are physically inferior
Dude, I am sorry some Philly broke your heart. But no, you can't go beat the shite out of her

Well those two situations are obviously the same thing, so

Well, she gave initial contact. So technically he can defend himself.
it does not give someone the right to use excessive force
if a little kid comes up and hits me in the dick with a wiffle bat, it doesn't give me the right to front kick them in the teeth.

shouldn't be punished at all for saying racist shite and starting the physicality.
Well she demonstrably did not start the physicality and no, no pedestrian has the right to "punish" another pedestrian in any way for saying any "racist shite"... So get back to us when your critical thinking skills matriculate to a greater degree

They are the only fanbase aside from Baylor with people I know that would defend it to this extent - not Texas, not LSU, not Tech. It's pretty sad
Keep us out of this. We've gone a full week without a frickup.

What do you think happens with him moving forward? Can the NFL afford to bring this guy on?

I don't think the N bomb has been officially verified.

He'll be in the NFL. But it will 100% cost him in the draft

What?

I don't know any Louisville fans. A&M, Texas, LSU, OU and Tech are the fanbases where my almost all of my friends are and OU is the only one I have seen defend and cover up something like this for their benefit. Every one of those other schools has had a player hit a woman or some other similar unfortunate incident with their football team and haven't had some group effort to make sure the player gets to play a couple years

She started the physicality. He escalated it though

You think she should get punished for racism?

They must teach bowing up in Thug 101.

If that was my daughter, Mixon wouldn't have even made it to the courthouse to plead.
If I was him, I'd do everything in my power to make sure he never plays a down of football again.

she called him the n-word, which is inexcusable.
Nah. His actions bore out the standard Chris Rock definitively laid out for when it is appropriate to deploy.

Pretty interesting on the 247 Oklahoma board.
Obviously, a number of them are disgusted by Mixon, but it's only about half.

Maybe I am missing something, but it looks like she definitely initiated contact (twice) so I think there technically is a self defense argument. People can certainly argue it wasn't a very fair match-up. Mixon acknowledges as much. Be nice to hear what was being said before and during the altercation to make a better analysis. Also, would have been good if Joe did not enter the restaurant to continue the conversation. I guess I was prepared to see what I saw so to me no surprises.

horseshite...............She invoked this...............TWICE..................pushed and hit him.....................MOVE ON.
quote:
She initiated contact by pushing and slapping him first. Don't forget the racial slur she used on him as well. Nothing any reasonable person wouldn't of reacted to. I didn't think the video was as shocking as people built it up to be. Joe will be fine.
Time to move forward.
Run Joe Run!

you see her motion Mixon to come over with her hand. That's why she came in. After her shove he flinched at her to give her a warning and then tryst to slap him but really misses, probably because she's drunk. Then he short strokes her. She's lucky he didn't take a really swing at her and it was just a jab. The punishment he's already received has been plenty for his actions. I'd like to see some sort of punishment for her. Allowing her to potentially punish him more with a law suit will only tell her that she was right and he was wrong and they both were.
quote:
She instigated the whole thing. All the OU haters can say what they want, go on and hate. It's over and done, JM has moved on and the "woman" wants to as well.
quote:
First I wouldn't be involved with an alcoholic with outstanding warrants, not what I consider a respectable person. Second if you've paid attention to the story the whole time, he comes in because she calls for him to come in and motions him over just like you see her motion him over. Third I'd woop both my daughter and niece if they had outstanding warrants and was know as the drunk amongst their friends.
Obviously, a number of them are disgusted by Mixon, but it's only about half.

Why not? They suspended those SAE frat students for it so why not her? Although I'm not surprised considering how right wing this board is
