My man, you seem to not understand that every single one of the past Super Bowl winning QBs have had a fantastic defense. Burrow has never had that. You can make a case that the 2021 Super Bowl team had a salty defense, but nowhere near Chiefs and Eagles caliber. Bengals suck at drafting defensive talent outside of Logan Wilson. You see tonight they took Shemar Stewart like wtf? Like previous poster^ offense has not been a problem for the bengals. Every loss this past year came within 7 points and was decided on a final drive where the defense came up short (well besides the Eagles and Commanders). Just an unlucky year for them. Joe Burrow was also the league leader in passing yards and TDs so I genuinely don’t know what your rant is about. Let’s talk about Dallas paying Dak Prescott 60m a year….that is some tard shite

Exactly, that's why it made no sense for Burrow to go to bat for them to keep both Jamar and Tee. He only needs 1 high level WR to succeed. He should be telling them to focus on building the defense. If they would've traded Tee they could pay and keep Henderson for sure and been able to draft something other than a pass rusher in the 1st round. The pick tonight looks like a team preparing to lose Henderson either this season or after next.

How is that Burrows fault, over shitty management by the Brown family. They are the worst owners in the NFL. They could’ve signed Jamaar and Tee to a cheaper contract last year but chose to franchise tag. That’s on them.

It's always funny watching people complain about others spending their money. They are billionaires on paper, and rich. But the team is their business. They have to manage it and make money off it, you know, to live. If I own a billion dollar company and it's how I make my living, I'm paying myself pretty well too. I'm not taking less than I'm paying the GM or coach.

Seriously do a deep dive on the Bengals and their finances. They have to put up a massive reserve to secure guaranteed contracts. Players want these huge signing bonuses. They don't have that kind of money just sitting around, they aren't liquid. You want them to sell off their birthright to make a 3-5 year run, when they want to keep the team in their family for the next 3-5 generations.

It all comes down to you being pissed that they aren't rich enough.

I will never understand his insistence they resign Higgins. That just made no sense at all.

Bengals have spent on OLine and defense, Bengals have added everything Burrow has wanted, what more do they need to do?

They are a different offense with Higgins in the games Chase is going to get double teams every play he isn’t. The games they struggled last year was games Higgins didn’t play.

For drafting an edge rusher in the first? It was a decent pick considering they were garbage on defense last year.

I don't think offense is the problem for the Bengals, with or without Higgins. They had one of six games in NFL history where their opponent didn't punt. They lost six games in spite of scoring 25 or more points. I totally get Higgins makes their offense more effective, but they need help on defense in a big way.

The dude was given everything he asked for. He got a mega deal and the stupidly paid two WRs mega deals after he kept chirping. Why would he leave?

There are a ton of posters on this site that Would make Burrow a martyr if he had an eagles like surrounding cast.

I don’t get why bengals management hates him so much

They made him the highest paid QB in NFL history. Then they made Ja'Marr Chase the highest paid non-QB in NFL history, as well as made Tee Higgins a top 10 paid receiver. Also re-signed Mike Gesicki after Burrow went to bat for him.

But remind me again how many of the highest pad QBs have won a SB.

You listed 10 guys it would take 10 years for all of them to win 1 if all only won 1. Mahomes has the biggest contract in the league and he’s won 3.
This idea that the QB getting paid means his team can’t win is confusing correlation with causation.

The guy has bust written all over him. The ESPN even said as much. Tarzan that doesn’t have good production.

Maybe it’ll work out, but feels like a Raiders pick. Looked at freak measurables instead of asking “is he a great football player?.
