ESPN Houston's John Granato reports J.J. Watt had a "heated exchange" with ex-Texans coach Bill O'Brien that led to a player revolt and ended up getting O'Brien fired.

What sucks about getting BOB fired? He’s not good at his job.

All reports indicate BOB was a miserable SOB, and just bringing everyone down in his wake. Wins and losses aside, he built a shitty work environment and culture, and completely lost his team.

Supposedly, Easterby asked all players with a BOB issue to text him, then Easterby showed all the texts to Mcnair.

It almost makes we want to pull for Bob in this situation, but Bob is a terrible coach

He sucks and Watt sucks. Just because it's a favorable outcome doesn't mean everyone involved doesn't suck.

Stars getting coaches fired is as old as day.

See Magic.

Owners will always side with the star player they are paying many more millions than the coaches.

Well unfortunately there’s more to his job than that. His moves as GM have fricked them.

Going 10-6 and 11-5, even in shitty divisions, is still good

his division aided that

but it was his beyond puzzling FO decisions the last few seasons that really got him canned

I've got a feeling the shelf life of a pro sports coach is much lower than 6 years

I think Leveraging your future to start 0-4 is not ideal either.

IDK why anyone thought he should be a GM.

I think it's safe to say the Texans would not have made the playoffs in his 7th season.

Laughable to call JJ a star in today’s NFL.

If it was Watson then I’d agree.
