She put him on the spot to do something. It's his money and it's a nice thing to do, but it was almost impossible for him to NOT pay for some of it after she made it certain he would see it.

I don't know about you, but I had 2 grandfathers. They both passed away within roughly 5 years of each other too.
She could very well be completely full of shite, but Watt was under no obligation to help and offered to anyway.

Eh life goes on. Twitter isn’t real and if JJ never acknowledged it, nobody would care. JJ gets the booster publicity by doing this and the woman gets her lotto ticket coming true. She knew what she was doing and JJ knows what he’s doing.
Nonetheless great on JJ. I’m one of the people that doesn’t understand the dislike of him. Yeah he’s good at the PR game. He’s also a nice guy by all accounts.
