It seems like the networks control this more than the league.
Some NFL games start at published times, but I want to say it's MNF that starts 8 minutes later

Yea the NFL and MLB are pretty good about it. The NBA is awful. Pels 7:00 games are always a 7:15 tip off. So annoying.

I have all the games. Frankly, it has never been a problem when you go back and forth to the better games.
