Jimmy Ott is a sports gambling deity. Here is an appreciation thread to the GOAT.

For over 30 years, he has been a towering figure in sports radio since his 1300AM days. A true legend, an icon, and the undisputed gold standard of the industry. His unparalleled knowledge, razor-sharp instincts, and larger-than-life personality have cemented his legacy as the very best in the business.
Generations have come and gone, but his greatness remains unmatched. He is more than a radio personality; he is an institution, a living legend, and a true deity in the pantheon of sports gambling. All hail the GOAT.

You think he would be better at it as much time as he spends on it.

The guy couldn't pick a winner if he signed up for all 100 squares of a football pool.

Towering??
Razor-sharp?
Undisputed?
Living legend?
Too early to be drinking my man…
Jimmys a degenerate gambler who doesn’t do anything but interupt Hanny for 3 hours.

While somehow still not forming a complete sentence.

Nice Troll, Jimmy Ott contributes zero to Baton Rouge sports and his gambling information is also useless , he's about as worthless as your post.

Say what you want about the Ott Father, but he's pretty entertaining for the most part. I get it, he can overtalk and ramble and lose his train of thought, but he's a legend. Hanny and Ott are like peanut butter and jelly and I'll listen until they decide to hang it up.

He is like every New Orleans person I have ever known.
And I don't mean that as a shot. That is just how NOLA people are.
When I first started LSU, I had never been around NOLA people. Then of course I made lots of acquaintances at school....and it took me a little while to figure out how talkative they were.
And the Kennah yat thing was real. I sometimes see a guy I met freshman year from Kennah and I still can't understand half the shite he is saying.

If he would just send in picks every week and never speak that show would be 100% listenable. As it stands, I can't get through 5 minutes without changing the station. Poor Hanny

Fun fact: I have been tracking Ott's 5 pack of picks on the show every Friday and he is 12-23 on the season
