He is the most entertaining to the discerning eye. He don’t dunk and make mean faces so some can’t appreciate it. Although I get big laughs after he dunks on people then does his fake nose bleed it’s the new chef Hardwn move.

Classic Harden.

He's an unreal basketball player and has perfected his "style" of play, which makes him crazy efficient. Lean into players, draw foul, make free throws, which makes players play timid defense on him and give him open looks for jumpers.

But its such a shitty brand of basketball to watch.

The Wolves averaged 107 points against the Rockets during the regular season. The Rockets averaged 123 points against the Wolves during the regular season.

So again, who performed below their average more?

It's called playoff basketball, and the Rockets are known to be worse in the post-season as their game doesn't translate as well when the whistles don't come as freely.

No one denies Harden's talents, but he consistently chooses to not actually try to play basketball, but instead get easy points at the line by doing everything to try and draw a foul

He dropped 44 points with only nine FT attempts.

well either Mark is blind, or Mark can't count.

He clearly states what is legal as did the other video showing how his step back is legal. It's a gather and then 2 steps, which is legal.
Last night it was a gather, and 3 steps, and that is clear to see. It was a travel.

It an honour to be mentioned Among the all time greats.

The consensus among the group was that Harden is top-five all-time on that front.
Kenny Smith and Shaquille O'Neal were quick to go with Bryant over Harden — "all day, every day," O'Neal put it. "I don't know, man," Barkley responded. " ... James Harden, to me, might be the most unguardable player I've ever seen."

This isn’t the first we’ve seen this either. Tim legler said earlier this year that James was the best player he had ever seen with the ball in his hands as well.

Like I said the praise you gonna see heaped on James is just beginning.

None of what you just said is true, and you can go look up the stats.

He gathers on the first step that you are counting. Then he takes two legal steps to back up. Harden studied the rules, and put TONS of gym time to get the timing down. But players have used the move historically as well. I will concede that I've seen Harden miss the timing from time to time and refs miss it because they trust him.

A. This is True and it is an incredibly crafty footwork by harden. It is often a travel but more often then not he pulls it off. With how loose the nba calls carrying there is basically no way to call it on his step backs.

B. We are reaching peak hate now that we are talking traveling. Next up we have y’all calling out his uniform violations

I don't think Harden breaks the rules, he just exploits the frick out of them

Very intelligent and insanely efficient basketball player.

I hate watching him play though.

Excluding the officiating portion,I posted this last season, don't recall the exact numbers, but the Rockets were something like 2nd or 3rd in regular season wins over a 10 year stretch and 16th in playoff series victories, so there is some truth to that.

I don't mind the traveling on the step back, at least it's an entertaining shot.
