He had an obsession with old arse QB’s that’s on him. In his defense they did trade 2 first round picks for him and then after Cadillac Williams won ROTY he immediately blew out his knee.

Jimbo had a long track record of coaching succesful college offenses and QBs…I think he struggled with two things:
1. Much like the man he mocked (Les miles) he quickly became an offensive dinosaur in college football. His attempts to modernize were half assed and he’d end up reverting back to what he knew.
2. Locker room management, he could bring in talent but man at both FSU and A&M, after a few years of his leadership both became shite shows internally.
