I mean it’s not my fault that you epitomize A&M’s love of mediocrity and that your name is WestCoastAg. It really doesn’t take an observant person to notice your shtick. You’re literally sitting here defending a 30-36 record and explaining to everyone why it’s a good thing. You’re a standard delusional Agtard.

Doesn't lebron have a no trade clause?

I think basketball is the only sport where people can take a small segment of the season and extrapolate it the rest of the season, with nobody debating it. After 12 games, didn't the Clippers have the best record in the league? After 15, weren't the Rockets out of the playoffs? How long are the Lakers going to hang their hats on that 4th place record at Xmas?

how long are people going to act like this has been a year with absolutely nothing to take away from other than the lakers need to completely burn it all down, get rid of lebron, and start over from the ground up even when the team was doing some really positive things when it was all together?

But not positive enough for LeBron. Seems like LeBron was ready to burn it all to the ground and start over for AD.

You have to know this. It does have to be torn down. Other than James and a few young players, they are flipping 8-10 spots? That is a massive reload/rebuild. Most of it just doesn't fit and if any other team was flipping 50% of their roster it'd be a big deal..

yes. but lets highlight the fact that the lakers will be keeping lebron and the only way the lakers move on from ingram and ball and kuzma and hart are if it returns an established all star caliber player

Even with all the losing, having LeBron is free money because of the salary caps. They'd have to get A LOT.

You'd be looking at a 3 team trade where the suitor has to send assets to a 3rd team in order to get all the necessary pieces.

I think it’s more that unless you’re able to get a deal for AD done or sign Kawai there’s no reason to believe the Lakers as constructed can win a title next year. If you have to wait till 2020 to get AD you’ve got a 37 year old LeBron and your window is basically 1 year if that.

Of course James isn't going anywhere. It's his show. Ingram can't be moved. The rest is up in the air. Its a team of mercenaries. I'd be scared to death if I was a Laker fan..

The Lakers should consider unloading him.

He’s not happy and he knows he has zero chance of another title if he stays there.

I’m the biggest LeBron in Atlanta. No way in hell I’d trade Trae and Collins for him. The Hawks future is too bright with those two to trade for LeBron

Glad to see that A&M fans praise mediocrity in their professional sports interests too so in other words, when they’re all healthy, which is around 35% of the time, they’re playing at a 5th-place-in-the-west level?

15-8 is a 65% winning percentage.

That would be good for 3rd in the west right now.

They were 4th in the West when Lebron got hurt.

That really isn’t mediocrity

You’re assuming they’d maintain that pace. The Lakers are 6-12 without LeBron and 24-24 with him. They thought this was a Wilt/Kareem/Shaq move and in reality it was another Dwight/Nash move.

Deal him for young players/assets and you become a better FA destination for Kawhi/Davis. McGee/Beasley/Rondo/Chandler have no purpose anymore. The one with the least amount of issues in that group is also the least talented one.

The Lakers go for style over substance and that’s why they’ve been irrelevant since the Mavericks swept them. Stop chasing names and headlines and just draft/sign reliable, consistent players who want to win and/or know how to win.

If

AD traded to NY/Bos
Kyrie resigns with Bos or signs with NY
Durant to NY
Kawhi to Toronto or LAC
Klay resigns with GS

Does that legitimately leave Bron and the Lakers with Boogie as their best/only option
