I don’t know enough about Pelinka but Magic is a goddamn idiot and shouldn’t be in a position with any power.

The Lakers can point fingers at the Pelicans and others claiming sabotage but they have been clowning themselves since Magic was hired between the blatant tampering and the lowballing of trades for star players.

That said, the moment that AD is traded somewhere else, don't they really have to look long and hard at it?

It's a pipe dream of people who dislike LeBron. You hit the reason when you say it would take a Godfather offer.

The biggest issue is teams don't have a package to net LeBron without gutting their own roster. Then, why did you trade for LeBron again? So he can be pissed about being the lone star on a bad team he didn't want to go to?

The other alternative is a team gives less than LeBron is worth to keep a decent lineup around him. In that case, the Lakers don't do the deal.

Thinking anything else is just delusional. There's a reason teams don't trade superstars unless they have to. The Lakers don't have to.

The FA market is just as important to the Lakers as AD.

Phoenix

LeBron, with a shooter like Booker, (assuming Ayton would be part of the deal to the Lakers) would wreck shop... get a few of those older, cast off bigs like Javale McGee and stuff, and i could see them contending in the West...

that being said, Lebron ain't going no where... now, some of that crew they got, coaches included, yeah, they about to disappear, but he ain't going no where...
