Daniels has to be the biggest dummy in the NFL

I don't think he knew. His OL was standing him up and yelling at him to spike the ball.

Are you telling me an NFL quarterback doesn’t know his team doesn’t have any timeouts???

He had to know and just forgot I guess. Hell if I know.

yes. After he was tackled he showed zero urgency. So, I guess so.

The NC State player ideally would have scrambled until the clock ran out and then stepped on the back line. Unfortunately for him he lost the ball.

JD5 went full retard.

He probably thought they started with 5 timeouts.

The receivers even ran deep routes and were walking back to huddle. No discussion of the situation beforehand? Football IQ and awareness horrible.

Wouldn’t surprise me. I remember when Donovan McNabb was surprised a regular season game ended in a tie after OT.

They let 40 seconds run off and then did that at the end. Les Miles thought that was retarded.

I am 100% convinced Dan Quinn didn't know he could win the game with a field goal. Why the hell was he running a play there to begin with instead of kicking? Why were they trying to burn clock?

I was having Les Miles clock management PTSD watching that. It’s like the Redskins hired Les Miles to be their clock management coach.

i think there were over 40 secs left before the last play so letting it run was fine. The jags pulled out a win with only 8 secs left. The problem was running around, falling down and laying on the ground instead of getting up and spiking it. Even with that, they were only a second or two from spiking it and stopping the clock. That's all on the QB. Its his job to manage the clock there

They were in OT and both teams had already possessed the ball. Nothing good comes from getting cute with the clock in that spot.
