The guys on that show played at a time the NBA was arguably at its peak. Thus, they know what great competition looks like and what a shite product looks like. While I can kind of understand why he has that opinion, the reason the show is so popular is BECAUSE Charles, Kenny, Shaq are authentic at a time so much shite on TV is all vapid virtue signaling. Instead of wanting them to fake being positive maybe the league should consider listening to them

Don’t know what everyone sees in that show. Oh sure, a certain demographic will understand with the slang, sputtering out sentence fragments and uncontrollable giggling about silly takes. But Jason is onto something. They don’t really do a lot of basketball talk.

A bunch of guys who barely even watch the sport aren't telling you the truth about shite. Shaq doesn't even understand why defenses switch even though it's been explained to him by multiple people. They are funny as hell but their analysis is a complete joke.

Joel and AD broadcast is about the only thing up there with Inside the NBA. Most of the other coverage is straight trash.

Sports are entertainment. The games are rarely entertaining or meaningful anymore in almost every sport until the very end but it's hard to get invested even at that point when it's been apathy the entire season leading up to it. So when the product isn't entertaining you better find another way to engage viewers if you want to stay relevant at all.nobody is watching these shows for in depth basketball analysis anymore especially when it pretty much consists of shoot 3s all day

Charles, Shaq, and Kenny all played when the league had real players, actual competitors and rivalries that meant something. Now it's load-managing prima donnas who don't care about anything but themselves. And they expect you to support this farce of a league with more dollars than ever. Nope.

There’s nothing to analyze. It’s 5 interchangeable parts doing the same thing, shooting 3s and driving inside. Positionless basketball, great shooting, superior athleticism, and analytics have all made the NBA plateau to a boring product. It happened to baseball. They tried SOMETHING by eliminating the shift. Basketball is in that same rut where there are few true outcomes of each possession.

They've been like that since the start of the show. This is nothing new to today's game. It came out decades ago they pretty much only watch the games they broadcast which isn't enough to have any kind of meaningful breakdown of what you are watching.

Load management, the woke BS, and a lack of young star-power that is instantly recognizable is a small problem compared to the elephant in the room, which is the style of gameplay.

One thing people don't talk about enough is half the games are not competitive at all. A team gets up by 20 mid 3rd quarter then they pull the starters. The team that's down chucks 50 3's the rest if the game & everybody just goes through motions till it's a 138-102 final score with the bench having played the same or more minutes as the starters. The competitve games are probably on a channel you don't subscribe to so you give up.

He is wrong. The NBA sucks because you have pussies making 50 million a year being on fricking load management.
You have this dumbass in season tournament with stupid looking courts.
They have made the regular season mean even less now that 10 teams make the playoffs in each conference
