He wouldn’t last. Those guys dedicate their whole lives to that.

Jake Paul has been doing this less than 3 years and he's ko'd Woodley, hard, and just beat Silva.

Sure, those guys aren't pure boxers and they are past their prime, but to do that to both of those guys, who have years of boxing practice, is impressive AF.

The guy keeps improving by a lot each fight.

Not saying he's going to be world champ, but I am saying he'd have more than a decent shot a shot at beating pro boxers w/in the next few years.

Has anyone asked when Paul will fight a real boxer under the age of 40?

Doesn’t qualify as a “real boxer”, but I wonder if he takes into consideration Uriah Hall’s challenge. He’s 38

Was really impressed what Paul was able to do. He looked a ton better than he did against Woodley. Gotta give the bitch props. Never would have thought he could stand with Silva, much less knock him down. It was a good fight. He even busted up Anderson a little

I had Silva up 4-3 going into the last round. The knockdown won the fight IMO.

After the 6th round into the 7th I was thinking this may be a DRAW.....

The Knock down in 8th was the difference.

Respect to Paul ...but i do think he does PED's..that + youth was also the difference.

Really surprised Silva did not JAB more?? Still bad azz at 47

I hate Jake Paul. I think he's a terrible person and is annoying but geez, these dudes keep getting better. Professional boxing needs to get in on this and get real boxers booked. These dudes are obviously very athletic, hit hard, and can take hits.

May as well leap frog them up the boxing circuit. They don't need to fight the champs. Just get them in the ring with any top 15 fighter that is around the same age.

Jake Paul can beat bad pro boxers right now and fluff up his overall record if he wanted to. But those bouts won’t sell pay per views. Jake Paul is all about safe exhibition fights to make money and to gain more exposure.

He reminds me of Kimbo Slice street fighting on YouTube. Once you leave these safe fights and lose to a real fighter then your aura is gone for good.

When is he going to fight a legit boxer? I want to see that, not these converts.
The truth is that Jake Paul vs. some random pro with 2 fights under his belt is not going to sell PPV’s.

He obviously can’t fight any big named pro boxers or he’ll get his arse kicked. He doesn’t want to fight no-names because it won’t make any money.

It makes logical sense that he would fight guys who are on his level, AND have the name recognition. That’s why he’s fighting the guys he is right now.

I know silva beat Vitor in the ufc, but I think trt vitor Belfort would fare much better against Jake Paul. I would love to see vitor bring his trt aggression.

He’s fighting these guys because they’re retired, running out of money, and are agreeing to lose and take part in this bullshite scheme he’s running. This is pro wrestling 2.0 and it’s hilarious that anyone believes Jake Paul is going out and outstriking Anderson Silva. Anyone who’s ever seen an actual Silva pre-fight press conference then watched his presser with Jake Paul could see that the guy couldn’t care less about fighting anymore.

Jake is going to find another washed MMA fighter yet again, pay them a ton of money to lose, and cash the checks. Rinse repeat. I can’t believe anyone is paying for these fights

I think what you are saying could be true.

How bout Nate Diaz? NEXT? He doesn't seem like one who would agree to lose?

Diaz looked gassed in his last fight. Not sure he'd be able to go an 8 round boxing match with Paul.

Funny how mad Jake Paul makes some of you guys, still calling his obviously not rigged fight "rigged" the guy has put in the hard work the past few years and it clearly shows, he has all the time and money to do nothing but focus on boxing and getting better and that's what he's been doing, only the casuals aren't giving Jake Paul his respects right now

I'm far from a boxing casual but Jake Paul isn't getting respect from the boxing world because he's yet to fight an actual

B
O
X
E
R

He's beating washed up MMA guys and a washed up NBA guy. I'm not against the guy making a buck but lets please not legitimize this as anything but what it is. It's a clown show that his YT followers are dumb enough to buy.

NO serious boxing fan is buying this shite show. Has Paul progressed? Yes he has. Does he work hard at it? He obviously does. Is he a serious threat to ANYONE that isn't over 45 and been an actual boxer? Not on your fricking life.

He wouldn't even fight Tommy Fury who even boxing folks admit has a padded record and is a joke.

You're mad, casual, did you have to look up who Lomachenko was to claim you were watching that fight?
