Certainly not Loma's best effort. Ortiz came to win.

He's tried to fight Rahman Jr and young Fury already and one pulled out twice and the other couldn't make weight, get your facts up son.

Fury couldn't get in the country due to customs and Rahman pulled out because he didn't want to fight dehydrated at a weight he couldn't safely make.

frick off and YOU get your facts straight. Paul is a grifter.

Rahman signed a contract and couldn't make weight, that simple, Fury pulled out twice, also that simple, stay mad, surprised you didn't randomly bring up "muh boosters" like the last inbred.

Why the hell would I be mad? The dude has made FU money grifting people like you. Kudos to the kid.

But he gets in a BOXING ring with a real BOXER and he's getting fricked up. At least have enough nuts to admit it.

I think the fight says more about Silvia’s conditioning and fighting ability at 47. Jake is going to keep fighting older MMA guys not known for striking or fighting washed boxers that are beyond their prime. If he steps into the ring with any top 50 guys within a weight class of himself he’s going to get punished. Smart marketing by him.

Hasn't made a dime off of me, try again with that, define "real boxer" please, do I think he can go beat some potential world champion elite boxer? Of course not, but I think he can for sure hang with a Tommy Fury or a Rahman Jr.

It's not smart, it's brilliant.

As a boxing purist, I'd have more respect for him if he's fought Silva, Askren, and Woodley in the cage and gotten his teeth kicked in.

Unrealstic weight expectations with hydration clause. Team Paul is not stupid. Rahman made the weight later. They didn't have to cancel

I promise I have WATCHED WAY MORE FIGHTS than you will ever imagine. Been watching the Matrix plenty! It's OK to admit you are impressed!

How bout your boy Jake fight Tommy Morrison's son Kenzie Morrison?? He was begging him to fight this Summer! CRICKETS from Team Paul

Now Uriah Hall calling him out too....

FORGET calling out Canelo....how about Artur Beterbiev??

I agree the young Fury seems scared . Too big a risk. Paul has some skills. He has my interest for sure!

I'd say be patient, he says he wants to fight boxers and big names, let the guy work his way up a little like most boxers do, we know for a fact that he's already tried to fight Tommy and Rahman Jr, I do agree it's time for him to stop with the washed up mma fighters though even though Silva looked solid last night.

He doesn't seem like one who would agree to lose?

Why not? If you listen to Jake Paul talk, he sounds like a boxing promoter. He’s a bullshite artist who’s trying to convince these fighters that he’s going to frick over Dana White, advocate for higher fighter pay, etc. when in reality he’s just making himself rich and giving these guys a much needed payday.

Notice that every single fighter outside of Askren who’s agreed to fight him is on bad terms with Dana White and has reason to go along with Jake’s vendetta against Dana. It’s very clear if you keep up with the big picture and what guys like Nate and Anderson think of the UFC

Sure he looked solid but Anderson is closer to 50 now, he would have tore Jake a new one had he been in his prime

Yeah he is trying to position himself to completely frick up a great sport. If you watched the show last night nearly every person on the broadcast was former ufc and the majority of the “celebs” shown in the crowd were from the ufc. Virtually no boxers or boxing personalities. Shows how awesome the ufc has been and how terrible boxing had been. I hope the ufc can continue to keep a union out of the picture it will completely ruin the sport.

You confirmed what he said was correct then told the poster to get his facts straight

Would that be the weight he agrees to fight at or some different weight?

That’s the problem. He didn’t. Completely skipped over an entire amateur career and wants the street cred anyways. Every other boxer out there put in the work and the years against other boxers. Not NBA players and YouTube personalities.

Then why are people complaining about him not fighting pro boxers? Seems that would be a contradiction.

Because he is now a “pro” boxer?? Who else should he be fighting?

Anyone who thinks JP wants a legitimate boxing career is being played. He will fight 8-10 fights total, all against washed up has-beens. It’s a money play. And boxing purists don’t take kindly to children borrowing their sport for financial gain.
