It’s laughable Tommy Fury uses the Fury name.

People keep losing sight of the fact that Paul is a youtuber who has fought and trained for a few years. This was humiliating for all the UFC fans crowing about 4 oz gloves for the last 20 years lol.

Because the people are deplorable and it’s not top tier boxing….does this really need an explanation?

It's barely boxing, not sure it rises to a tier.

You realize he beat 1 of the worst MMA Strikers of all time coming off hip surgery and a guy past his prime Who at his best was a one punch power guy known more as a wrestler? Also both of those guys would have destroyed him in MMA. I'd like to at the very least see him fight a striker or a legit low level boxer.

That was shitty defense. I don't know how he got that flush with a wind-up and punch from Paul. He didn't have time to get his hand back up but a seasoned boxer would've slipped to the right or ducked.

honestly wouldn't surprise me if it was planned and woodley took a dive. woodley had nothing to lose and got paid. its not like he all of a sudden was gonna start fighting for millions of dollars a bout if he beat paul. same for askren, although he didnt even have the illusion of being a decent striker. still, he basically just took the fight for the money, he barely trained.

I do! But that argument is a cope. He's not a real fighter himself after all...

Usually when fighters take a dive, they don't do it by getting knocked out into another dimension.. watch some Japanese worked shoots (Volk Han was the king of that style)... that's not how fixing fights go, jeez

Looked like Woodley was completely gassed. It does look somewhat staged but I have a hard time believing Woodley would agree to take a dive in that fashion.

I think a lot of people continue to discredit Paul out of ego. It’s hard to accept when we are wrong. The kid has skills and he’s put in the work. Will he ever fight for a boxing title? No, but he’s never claimed that. A lot of people said he fought a bunch of cans. But he’s finished them in spectacular fashion. It’s entertainment.

Paul has carved out a nice niche that fits his skill set and he can draw an audience. He knows how the game is played and is optimizing it.

There are many forms of combat. Boxing, mma, kickboxing, Muay Thai. A good fighter in each form will struggle to beat one in another form. If Floyd Maywearher fights an elite Muay Thai fighter with Muay Thai rules, he’ll get murdered. Same if the situation is vice versa.

That why MMA fighters with avg boxing skills will have a hard time beating Paul. It’s a different game. And they know that but they willing to do it anyway because of the money. Like I said, Paul knows how to play to game.

I 100% believe Askren took a five

Paul threw a haymaker and missed and Askren immediately took a step forward in range with his hands down and did nothing wait to eat a bunch.

I agree with this. Everything about it looked completely unnatural.

Woodley looked legit. Very similar to the Martinez vs Paul Williams KO a while back.

This is exactly what happens in all of JPs fights. I'd let that garbage knock me out for 1 million dollars.

Hell give me 6 months training and I'd put up more of a fight than anyone he's fought so far.

It's fake. Guys a youtuber. Why would anybody believe this shite is real?

That must've been directed to someone else. It obviously wasn't a dive.
