How many times does ND need to lose big games to prove it’s over for them? The average score in the BCS/Playoff games ND has been in is something like 36-13

Does Notre Dame beating UGA and Penn State in the playoffs last year not count as big games?

Since advent of BCS they are like 2-13 in such games. That’s abysmal

Game wasn’t competitive at all Ohio never left second gear after halftime. You clearly didn’t watch the game.

It was a one score game with 4 min to go.

If you don’t think that’s competitive then you don’t know what you’re talking about.

Its dumb because we dont need 12 schools

Go back to 4 with very transparent criteria and simply choose the 4 best from that criteria

0-12 under Weis, Willingham and Kelly

Who won the 2?

The goal should be to have the best 12 teams in the playoffs.

So if a team has some injuries early on, loses 5 games, then gets their players back and wins 6 in a row, to finish 6-5 but they are likely the best team in the country at that time, they should make the playoffs?

Yeah, I'm tired of the "forget the losses, they're playing great football right now" bullshite.
Do those Notre Dame losses count or not? Did Bama get curb-stomped by FSU or not?
Did Texas lose to Florida or not?

And when your resume starts with "they have two close losses to (whoever)", you don't have a resume.

If those 6 wins outweigh other teams’ 9 or 10 or 11… they could be an at-large

We give at large bids in other sports to teams barely above .500 with a good SOS
