How much clean, fun, fan excitement has this man and GameDay provided us for decades. It's refreshing to see him back. I wish Lee all the best health and life.

They need to let that man ride off into the sunset.
They whole vibe changes every time he talks. He’s done his service and he’s a legend at what he’s done for the sport, but it’s time to let that man ride.

Met him in 2010 at the LSU - North Carolina game, great guy.

This has to be a troll.
Why? Because you don't like Corso?

They should announce this is his last year and then have a celebration for him at every stop.

That should have been done 3 years ago. Everyone had concerns for him except for ESPN it’s a shame he was great for the show back in the day, now they’re just exploiting him. Way to go ESPN

Apparently he enjoys what he's doing and wants to continue to be on the show. It gives him a purpose, which is something most people his age don't have, and it appears that Herbstreit and the others genuinely enjoy his friendship. If some folks don't want to watch, then don't. Simple enough.

Ah, the 20th annual 'Corso should retire' thread.

He was the only one who came down into the crowd after the show in Green Bay. He signed every piece of paper and boob that was shoved in front of him.
He appears to be a genuinely a good guy but his time is done.

He’s incoherent enough to qualify for president

Love Corso, don't understand the hate, he is a legend & I enjoy what he adds!

It's a tough call. He's obviously not in a situation where he can do this anymore, but he's earned the respect to go as long as he wants. If he doesn't want to leave, I dunno what a network is supposed to do.
It was obvious they were grooming Les for the role, but can't use him now.

I don't get it either. He is not hurting a thing and people seem to still enjoy his shtick. However the Mr.Ballen side of me thinks they want him to crook on set for the super ratings boost.
