Um, they sanctioned her according to the rule she violated. You call an NFL ref a thief you probably get 15 yards for unsportsmanlike. NBA you get T'd up. MLB you get ejected. Tennis you get fined a point or a game.

How do tennis players and fans define minority? Is it the minority where the tournament is being played? Are blacks always the minority, even when they are the majority? Would a Haitian/Japanese person not be at least as much of a minority as a black player?

Because it was egregious at the time it was done, you couple that with her antics afterwards and you have the lost game.. Breaking a racket is bad enough but what was said the to Ramos in the end was unacceptable, especially for someone of her statur.
