It gives 28-3 (please help me forget) a run for its money, but idk if it is as bad. Hard to compare between basketball and football — no lead is really super safe in NBA with the 3 pt line and how much the momentum can change in just a 4-5 min span.

In football terms I would say this was the equivalent of blowing like a 28 or 31-7 type lead at half. So yeah probably still not as bad as 28-3 lol. Plus this is in a best of 7 instead of a single game winner take all.

It was extremely poor coaching. Instead of burning clock they kept chucking shots. Even had a chance at the end to win if they hold the ball and they took a blocked layup attempt instead

At a minimum it’s the worst choke job in nba history. You could argue other sports, but to blow this in an nba finals is insane
