Stealing bases is exponentially easier. 40 stolen bases is nice but is no longer historical. Think 5,000 yards passing in NFL

It's been done 15 times by 9 guys . And one player has a third of the total.

great player for a few seasons in his 20's, but there is PLENTY of doubt about him being the "GOAT",

Ohtani might be the best ever - time will tell - but Ruth shouldn't even be in the same conversation. Ruth was a larger-than-life personality who did a lot for the game, but Ty Cobb is the man to compare Ohtani to.
