Stealing bases is exponentially easier. 40 stolen bases is nice but is no longer historical. Think 5,000 yards passing in NFL

You act like mulitple guys are just out there throwing for 5K every season

It's been done 15 times by 9 guys . And one player has a third of the total.

great player for a few seasons in his 20's, but there is PLENTY of doubt about him being the "GOAT",

I like how so many people act like plumbers were playing in the 1970’s, yet hold up a guy who played in 1914 as the greatest ever lol.

I remember when Trout was GOAT.

I know it’s way different landscape now, but babe Ruth also has 7 World Series on his name as well.

Ohtani might be the best ever - time will tell - but Ruth shouldn't even be in the same conversation. Ruth was a larger-than-life personality who did a lot for the game, but Ty Cobb is the man to compare Ohtani to.

Babe Ruth isn’t close to Ohtani.

Ruth, Williams and Mays find this amusing

It is so ridiculous they are not in the HOF.
