I like Bregman. He is entertaining and genuine. He likes to have fun. I also like Trevor Bauer.

Just like every runner on second base for the past 100 years...
There is a reason signs are given with all of the Mumbo jumbo across the chest, swipe the arm, etc.
it’s always been part of the game. Look how many batters have a better avg with “runners on base”.
It is disingenuous for anyone to act otherwise. They just did it better at first, but the MLB tape delay to the clubhouse monitors for all clubs tells you all you need to know about how pervasive this is throughout the league.

He did become the first major league player that I (along with A LOT of other people) have ever seen hit a homer and carry their bat all the way to first base and try to hand it to his coach

Personally, I believe that there are a lot of guys on this board who are jealous of Bregman. Who doesn’t get cocky or overconfident after signing a contract of 20-30 million ? One minute you are going to class at LSU, the next minute, you never have to worry about bills or rent or transportation the rest of your life. What a great feeling !
Bregs can have sex with ladies who are out of this board’s league. Can dine at houston’s Finest establishments and has opportunities outside of baseball.
