There's a video out there showing a lot of other cheap fouls she's pulled, scratching Clark's eyes with her extra long nails, jerking a player to the floor by pulling on her hair, setting a hard pick, etc. This is not her first rodeo & the League knows it.

My wife (no pics) had an interesting comment on this yesterday.
She said that the way this league is being run, the drama, pettiness and general disarray is exactly what its like being in an office full of women. I can't say I disagree.

This stuff is the only way that the league gets attention. You do see that the play is rarely discussed
Just change the name of the league to the WNBA sponsored by bravo.

Agree with this. This play has happened a number of time in the WNBA and NBA and I’ve never heard of it coming with an additional game suspension

True, but she followed that up by sending the message White Privilege to the Indiana Fever team and then berating some guy in the media for criticizing her.

I mean... these Cunningham threads are filled w/dudes who clearly don't watch basketball thinking these fouls don't happen all the time in the NBA and definitely don't watch any women's sports w/how they seem to want to wrap the players in bubble wrap for protection. They are are flipping out over normal basketball fouls purely b/c they have their political panties in a wad. Titty babies are pretending all the white players are being assaulted every night when they can't name a single white player other than Cunningham and Clark.

Well shite is all over ESPN's mainpage day after day and they are all in on WWE wrestling too.... makes sense. They love the drama and don't give a shite about sport/competition at this point.

This. Whoever is controlling the WNBA knows exactly what they're doing by allowing all the shenanigans. It is the only relevancy they will ever have because the athletic ability certainly isn't a draw.

I agree that's not a big deal by itself. On top of the on-court clotheslining of an opponent and the White Privilege message, it's just one more instance of her going after people physically or via media.

I don't think she should have been suspended another game because of the foul.
She fricking absolutely should have been disciplined for the "white privilege" tweet. But the commissioner has been silent on that.
Toronto's coach got a 1 game suspension for referring to Angel Reese as a "protected species". The coach profusely apologized and insisted that she meant no harm.
Carrington throws out "white privilege"....and nothing.
This speaks volumes as to what this league is all about. It isn't new--but it is being amplified because more people are paying attention. The league is woke and racist toward white players, especially straight ones.
The commissioner is so afraid of pissing off the blacks, lesbians, and trannies. Straight white girls are the enemy.
That league absolutely has its arse in the jackpot over the issue of trannies being able to play and what the definition of a woman is. They are going to royally piss off a lot of people, no matter what they do or say.
Yes, it is common sense that anything born male should be ineligible to play in the league. But this goes against everything that league has believed in for its entire history. So if they take the easy (and correct) way out of this, they will be admitting to themselves that they have been preaching a bullshite message for 30 years.
And if they let the NBA players in, hilarity and embarrassment will ensue.
I am rooting for whatever it takes to burn the whole thing to the ground.

It would have stayed in the category of "typical flagrant foul" if she had not sent the message: "White Privilege" to the opposing team and everybody else in the mix 8 seconds after she got ejected.

Which is another big part of the problem. Both in sports and common society, the earned consequences are secondary to the repercussions of actually enforcing the earned consequences.
