Is the NFL,NBA rigged?

They say the refs are just bad. But I have been watching sports a long time. These refs are not bad they are just being told how to call these games. There is too much money involved in this now, not to mention the gambling partnership.
Could you imagine if this is all uncovered the lawsuits
I don’t think the players themselves are throwing the games but the refs are.

Refreshing thread. Can’t wait to see everyone’s new takes on this subject that’s never been talked about here before.

quote:isnt it obvious? watch these past chiefs games. the NFL rigged the playoffs so the chiefs could get to the superbowl. they are in the pocket of BLM and the democratic party. this has all been one coordinated psy op to get taylor swift the biggest platform possible to publicly endorse biden and steal the election

Yes, but why is a new thread needed?

one ref went to prison for it. how does a ref go to prison for it but somehow the games aren't tainted? how does Harbaugh get suspended for something inappropriate but the wins are fine. of course it's rigged. only fools think otherwise. it's not even close or difficult to see.

Because it’s the first Sunday without football in a long time and I have nothing else to talk about

NFL can get any outcome they want with holding and pass interference penalties.
Some games they don’t care about, and occasionally meaningful games turn into routs, but if it’s close, NFL refs can dedicate the game outcome. Right down to a desired score.

I think they protect their stars. Likely because of TV viewership, they want them in playoffs and big games.
Case in point is Lakers. They always get more fouls called on opponents and yet LA have least drives to basket in NBA.
Their recent games foul shots advantage from most recent game working backwards:
LA 27-15 and won by 8
LA 26-7 and won by 9
LA 25-18 lost by 16
LA 26-25 lost by 16
LA 43-16 won by 1 in 2OT
Look at all those free throws!
Lets look at personal fouls per game stats:
LA 16.5 is least in NBA
Next is 17.2
Then 18.2
18.3
18.3
18.7
18.7
18.8
18.9
18.9
19.1
19.3
19.3
19.3
19.4
19.4
19.4
The rest from 19.6 to 22.5
LA fouls are so distorted in comparison considering they have the least drives to basket of all teams. This is so blatant to try and help LA make the playoffs. Over a season if the extra foul shots help them win 6 or so games that can be the difference of making playoffs.
This is but one example of a sport catering to an aging player.

Yep. Plain as day. I can't believe I'm the only one intelligent enough to see through the veil. Everything has been rigged for Alabama until it was rigged for Michigan.
NFL rigged it for Brady until deflategate so they rigged it for the NY Giants against him. Then Goodell saw a picture of Brady on GQ and said "Aw, Tommy! Can't stay mad at uuuuu!!!!" So Goodell decided to rig a few more for him as an "apology rig"
I cant decide if they're going to rig next week for the Pfizer Chiefs or try to rig for San Fagcisco to get more gay fans. Either way I'll be here Monday to say I told you so! Because I have ALL THE ANSWERS!!

Its just entertainment dude.
There's no fair and square.
Not a Saints fan but after the Nola no-call, you take sports leagues for what they are....subjective.
You want wins not determined by officiating, watch golf.

I think preferred outcomes sometimes but it’s just understood and if you can’t fake enough calls to get the result oh well but usually it’s possible. Rams saints. They helped the rams as much as possible but if the kicker missed or something they are still ok with saints.

I know the NBA is. I had a +1500, five leg parlay last night. Hit the first four legs with nothing left but Darius Garland O4.5 assists. He got one right out of the gate, then took his foot off the gas. Still at one with 8 minutes left in the fourth, he adds three quick ones to get it to 4 and then stops. I know he saw my bet and pulled up.

They helped the Rams by waiting until the very end of the game and decide not to throw a flag also the Rams were flagged for 7 penalties and the Saints 3.
Do you guys even think through this stuff?

Yes it’s rigged. Anybody with half a working brain knows when a league is in partnership with gambling and there’s no legal recourse or risk of fan abandonment if they’re caught knows games are rigged. Anyone denying this is doing so out of some childlike delusion that everything is fair simply because the people in charge say it is.

The NFL has already been sued but it’s an entertainment company and they have no obligation to provide an honest or fair competition. This all came out when Jets fans sued over spygate.
