Is the NBA a hotter product than the NFL right now

Huge Saints and NFL fan but I am just not excited for the season. Was not a big NBA guy but I find myself looking at Pels talk alot on this board and really looking forward to the season. Its been a great offseason for the NBA and Goodell is making the NFL unwatchable. Saints board here has been sputtering at best and training camp is 2 weeks away. I am even thinking about Pelican season tix.

NBA is great because most players have longer peaks and there aren't nearly as many career ending injuries. NFL has more randomness from play to play which makes it exciting and sort of gives it the can't miss factor. Overall I prefer the NBA because the players are better for longer.

Just wait until football is here. NFL's regular season is 10x better than NBA's

Fantasy football was ridiculous this last year with the amount of injuries, to the point where it wasn't even fun anymore. That's honestly the only reason I even turn the TV on for games other than the Saints.

TBH the NFL killed it last season. Saints no-call and boring arse superbowl aside, it was the best season in years entertainment wise.
I've been a vocal NFL hater for a long time and I definitely say last year's NFL was awesome.
Let's see if they can keep that up. The previous 3-5 seasons were pretty boring.

What do we mean by hotter? There will never be a sport product in this country that will surpass the NFL in terms of interest. But the NBA is having the single greatest off season in the modern history of american sport and is infinitely more entertaining right now

NBA postseason > NFL Postseason
NBA off season >>>>>> NFL Preseason

And that’s an odd thing to compare

Yes.
And I like/watch both leagues and fully admit my bias since only the NBA is in my town.
