I think they are aiming for ground floor hires instead of name people with credit.
PS Simmons has done this time and time again, and promoted the hell out of them, only to see them fail for lack of listeners. The successful ones often leave for greener pastures and more power to them.

Ringer fc was mostly minority guys. But they haven’t had a new episode since December.

frick those writers. Nobody reads that shite anyway. And I guarantee the only podcasts that get major hits are BS, Rewatchables and some of the football stuff Rusillo does. That's all I used to listen to.
All he has to do is hire 4 or 5 dudes who don't give a shite about politics and who love movies and sports to fill the gap. Hell, I'd probably do it for half of what those idiots are making.

The last two weeks have been unbearable for the ringer podcasts. The BS pod is all about the protests, no rewatchables, the new living black in America garbage.
The worst is the new Wire pod. I would have been all about that but they fricking hired Jemelle Hill to Co-host it. Yea, frick that noise.
