Graham has been gone a year. 52-64-2 last two years. Not a Rice fan but it’s sad to see recent powerhouse become irrelevant so quickly.

Any chance they come back?

I’d probably give the new coach more than 1 year before I made that declaration

Funny how Tulane has had a similar decline minus the two good years with Pierce.

Both programs need to be rejuvenated.

But Rice’s new coach needs to be given time.

I agree, but it’s somewhat disturbing to have two losing seasons in a row in a meh conference.

With their location they will always have a chance to be good under the right coach

To be fair, Tulane got fricked by Katrina.

And I’m sure they’d be able to play the extra scholarship game for players through the academic side like Vandy does when it comes to filling the roster.

Graham was 82 when he was finally forced out. No offense to his legend but that's a lot of institutional rot to fix.

Rice has unlimited money compared to LaTech so the comparison is not true.

A private school in Texas with their baseball history will always have the opportunity to be elite

Now if baseball ups the scholly limit their advantage starts to shrink

Reckling Park is awesome and the new coach is legit. They’ll be back in a year or two.

only one G5 school is hosting a regional...

With the conference networks, the P5s are making more of a percentage of NCAA revenue than ever. This trickles down to baseball.

Wayne Graham died 6 years ago. His corpse coached pretty well for being dead.
