10 straight 1k seasons. If he plays as long as Jerry rice did (big if) he will break his yards record and be close to touchdowns as well, although probably won’t get that one even if he has the longevity. This is with Mike Glennon, josh McCown, and Jamies Winston throwing him the ball for the first part of his career. I think he gets overlooked year in and year out because he’s not a loud mouth who’s in the news every off season just shows up and goes to work every Sunday.

Don’t know if he’s a top 10 all time, but very likely a HOFer, if not a lock.

In another 3 or 4 season, if he keeps up the production, will have the same stats as Andre Johnson, with more TDs (has more already)

I bet he'll crack the top 10 in rec TDs by the end of next year. Will take a couple years to crack the top 10 in yards but i think he'll get there.

Always having 1k yards is incredibly impressive he seems to click with any QB he's paired with. Plus he's a fricking iron man almost never misses games.

1K yards now is different from back in the day. Still a great achievement.

Incredibly consistent year in and year out but not sure he’s top ten unless health and longevity are weighted heavily. For a single game he probably wouldn’t be in your top 25 yet alone top 10.

It may sound a little weird but his career arc reminds me a little of a guy like Curtis Martin. Will be a hall of famer. Will accumulate significant statistics. Doesn’t even have that 1 all pro season Curtis had,

Yes- he’s top 10 of all time and an absolute lock to make the HOF.

While Manziel was obviously talented, when you see how solid he has been his entire career and you realize he was a big part of JFF’s Heisman.

Nowadays 1,000 yards is 59 per game.

I don’t know where Mike Evans ranks, but Amari Cooper can’t be too far behind him. Both are good for 75 catches and 1,000 yds every season. The biggest difference is TDs.

The knock on Amari is that he’s more of a possession receiver, while Evan’s is a huge red zone weapon.

Amari might crack the top 50 receivers all-time list. No way is Evans anywhere near the top 10.

In the most prolific passing era of all-time, he is 31st in all-time yards, only had one 1500 yd season and has never been 1st team all-pro.

IF he keeps up this level of production for 3-5 more years, he will likely make the HOF. He would have to have to do a LOT more to be considered top 10 all-time. Right not, he isn't even Deandre Hopkins.

The biggest thing he has going for him is the 10 yr, 1000 yd per season streak. That is impressive in any era,

I don’t think top 10 all time. But first ballot and great career

No even in his own era I can't put him above Tyreek, Adams or Kupp. The era before has AB and Julio. Then Steve Smith, Fitzgerald, Calvin Johnson, Tory Holt, Harrison, T.O. and Moss

Has he ever been considered top 5 at his position any season? I’m legit asking because I don’t follow all pro selections.

I know he’s had the 1K seasons and that’s incredible, but has he really impacted games like some of the HOF receivers have? And yes, his qb’s have been trash.

I’d like to see him earn 1 first team all-pro before starting the top 10 all time discussion

Haven’t we done this before? He’s not close to a top 10 “all-time” receiver and is no way a first ballot hall of famer. He probably needs a few more solid years for the votes to even get the hall.

You are assuming he will continue to produce at the same level he has for the first 10 years, which won't happen.

Cool thing on pro football reference (and the other other sports as well) is that it lets you select a certain number of years and get the total for just those years. So for the first 10 years of each of their careers.

Jerry Rice
Receptions - 820
Yards - 13275
Receiving TDs - 131
Total TDs - 139

Mike Evans
Receptions - 762
Yards - 11680
TDs - 94
Total TDs - 94

So while Mike Evans has been a great player for the first 10 years, lets not put him on Jerry Rice levels.

And in year 11 Jerry Rice had 1848 yards, and 5 seasons over 1000 between year 11 and year 18
