The money he makes from endorsements disagrees.

I’m not a fan of his wokeness but I don’t let other people’s political beliefs determine whether I like them or not

Not sure, i could give 2 rats, he doesn't bother me, i just enjoy piling on him. And his race hoax was pretty lame, but it's who he is. And he clearly loves the Chinese penis, and i don't hate ghey people, even aTm gheys aren't the worst.

He's not in my top5 of hated athletes.

Depends on how we define Superstar. LT is a horrible person, Tyreek Hill has beaten up a fetus, and OJ literally killed people.

He’s up there. He was not likeable before he made his foray into politics. when he went the super team route, I haven’t cared for him much. Shows he didn’t have the mamba mentality. I get a kick out of it when I see the lakers say mamba on 3 when they are lead by lebron and AD maybe the two most polar opposite of mamba mentality in the league.

He got those followers by playing basketball, not spewing political opinions.

He’s is no doubt a top 3 basketball player of all time. He exceeded almost unattainable hype coming out of high school. He’s a champion.

I don’t know many intelligent people that believe him to be anything other than insufferable.

Even people like me that really liked and defended him can no longer tolerate him.

I can’t think of a more unlikeable super star.

You almost have to judge him based on the era he played, bc social media has ruined the gross popularity of a lot of athletes, especially in America. The LeBron generation of athletes is the one that grew into the global social media boom.

LeBron is a slave to his social media following - he is a Silicon Valley robot at this stage.

Why do you have to like him? People take this shite too seriously.

I wouldn't hang out with the guy if I knew him in real life. He's too much of an attention whore. But he's my favorite player to watch. How hard is it to compartmentalize personal feelings from his greatness?

Why would a wookie, an 8 foot tall wookie, want to live on Endor, with a bunch of two foot tall ewoks? That does not make sense! But more importantly, you have to ask yourself, 'what does that have to do with this case?' Nothing. Ladies and Gentlemen, it has nothing to do with this case. It does not make sense! Look at me. I'm a lawyer defending a major record company, and I'm talkin' about Chewbacca! Does that make sense? Ladies and gentlemen, I am not making any sense! None of this makes sense! And so you have to remember, when you're in that jury room deliberatin' and conjugatin' the Emancipation Proclamation, does it make sense? No! Ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, it does not make sense! If Chewbacca lives on Endor, you must acquit! The defense rests.

Muhamad Ali was pretty disliked until he couldnt speak anymore. Then he got really popular in his later years. I think it was Jim Brown that pointed that out.

We can all sit here and pretend like it's no big deal, but his comments lately fuel the hate for police and that hateful mindset makes it more likely for Floyd/Blake/Sterling type situations to happen

This the dumbest take and the fact it got up votes is frightening.

Is it Lebron comments or people's own personal interactions with police, the thousands of videos since camera phones and body cams became standard, or the government's unwillingness to rein in their henchmen?

The fact is there have been riots and burning buildings over policing well before anyone ever knew who Lebron was.

The US has the police force of a 3rd world, uncivilized country and there is a problem with public servant worship in this country.

Politicians and police work for the people and are well paid, but for some reason mediocre results are not only tolerated they are celebrated by certain segments of the population.
