This is an interesting exercise on the lengths some people will go to justify their Lebron hate.

OJ literally killed people. Allegedly.

I hate LeBron but.......he has the disadvantage of social media availability. Could you imagine people like Kareem Abdul Jabber or Bill Walton if they had a voice to the world at their fingertips.

Dude is dumb as a bag of rocks. Good thing he's 6'7" and can put a round ball through a net because if he couldn't his arse would be on the back of a garbage truck. My take

There are people who like him even more for his comments and efforts to drive social equality.

Only you idiots consider that "misinformation".

Guess it really depends on what grinds your gears more. Slicing people open or spicy political takes

I like OJ more than Lebron.

His efforts and logic are uninformed and yes he is a race baiter with likes of AL Sharpton and the ESPN crew. Get facts before you spread poison into the mob's ears.

you might truly be retarded if you think Isaiah is in the top 15. Kobe and Dr J are both laughable. Isaiah is beyond ignorant

I'm convinced that most of the vitriol directed towards LeBron is a result of our increased access to celebrities/sports stars. Imagine if we had the same degree of access to Jordan. He would have been crucified.

Also, I'd say more people probably hate KD than LeBron. He's just been hurt of late so it's not as prominent.

This is true. We dont know what they would have put out there. Young Barkley would have been worth it

Barry Bonds was pretty "unlikeable". Almost universally despite the fact he was chasing (and broke) the most "famous" records in major sports. It was equal parts that everyone knew he was juicing and that he didn't have a particularly outgoing personality to begin with. That standoffish personality became more pronounced as people constantly tried to tear him down while he was at the pinnacle of his career.

James had a likeable personality for much of his career, and there is no doubt he is a great basketball player. The problem is that his handlers, the media, his corporate sponsors have demanded he be social "icon" rather than just a great basketball player. Icon in the sense that he is supposed to be an impactful "voice" regarding various topics that have nothing to do with basketball, and on which he is woefully ill-informed. It's a shame because I think he's probably a pretty good guy. He's just trying to be something he's not because EVERYONE ELSE demands it of him.

Could you imagine prime Rodman in the social media age? He'd probably have a leaked sextape every season.

Well of course. But like you said, how are we defining superstar here? Are we narrowing it down to their careers as athletes or extrapolating beyond that?

OJ was a likeable superstar as an athlete, then people eventually learned he was a piece of shite as a human being long after he was done playing. I guess it depends on the criteria the OP is setting.

I really do hate him and he may be objectively a really good person.

People y’all about putting your money where your mouth is and you cannot deny he does that. The school he is funding in Akron is no job. That’s real heavy duty charity.

I have never been more excited for an NBA player to win a championship than I was for LeBron and Cleveland. I genuinely enjoyed that moment for him and that city.

That being said, since he has decided to constantly speak out on political issues and spray his retard nonsense to the masses, he can go frick himself.

LeBron is everything that is wrong with the modern athlete, and I will be glad when his self appointed crown is removed from his balding head. He’s a moron.
